Meet Shelley

Shelley Todd was born and raised in Canada, with a cosmetology license in hand in 1982 the journey began. With travel in her blood and scissors and comb (bread and butter) she was off and running to see the world. Her travels took her to Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and finally settling in California, USA.

A decade later she became a certified permanent makeup technician. Shelley trained with Sam Butcher at the MPI clinic in La Jolla, Ca. Sam trademarked the name “feather stroke” which is a hair stroke tattooed with a machine!

In 2005 a new service was added to the menu. Tattoo removal with a “non laser” method called Rejuvi. This method is used successfully all over the world especially in Europe. Shelley soon after became a trainer for Rejuvi and has a successful removal and training business with the company.

In 2016 Scalp Micropigmentation was a natural progression of services.

Shelley has been recognized in her industry, has won awards and performed platform work for conventions. As a leading expert in her field she has changed hundreds of lives. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality service with integrity. Shelley meets people and their individual needs for balding, thinning, alopecia and density clients with their goals.

Meet Daniel

At eighteen years old, Daniel Mora bought his first tattoo machine with the hope to pursue a career that supported his love for art. As life at the time made it difficult to accomplish his goal, Daniel pushed back the artistic dream to focus on his educational aspirations.

In 2011, Daniel graduated from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development. Like many others, the responsibility to provide for his family became a priority. While maintaining a sustainable job, Daniel couldn’t find the right path that fulfilled his need for art; until… Scalp Micropigmentation found him.

Daniel discovered Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP) after researching a solution for his hair loss. Going through the procedure himself, he immediately gravitated to the creative process. A career in SMP was the perfect outlet for him to express his artistic talent and, at the same time, help people feel more confident about themselves.
